Bradley S. Donnelly, Esq.

An experienced litigator and trial attorney, Bradley S. Donnelly enjoys a diverse background and over 20 years of experience in civil litigation practice. HIs litigation practice concentrates in the areas of commercial and business disputes, real estate litigation, landlord / tenant disputes, as well as probate estate, trust and guardianship litigation.

Mr. Donnelly represents a variety of clients including individuals, families, as well as small and large businesses, and corporate entities in a wide range of commercial litigation matters such as breach of contract, purchase and sale agreements, shareholder disputes, commercial leasing disputes, restrictive covenant litigation, non-compete agreements, and a host of matters in residential and commercial real estate litigation such as purchase and sale agreement disputes, foreclosure, partition, landlord/tenant disputes, condominium disputes, and litigation of property insurance disputes under a variety of commercial policies. Mr. Donnelly has significant courtroom and trial experience in Florida state courts where he aggressively represents his clients and fights for their rights and has successfully obtained jury verdicts for his clients.

In addition, a significant portion of Mr. Donnelly’s practice involves probate and trust litigation where he represents clients in complex estate matters involving will and trust contests, guardianship, trust modification, beneficiary disputes, appointment and removal of fiduciaries such as personal representatives, trustees or guardians, disagreements among fiduciaries and beneficiaries, determination of capacity and/or undue influence, and litigating creditor claims filed against estates.

Background

Mr. Donnelly received his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana and, in 1999, he earned his Juris Doctor degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Mr. Donnelly went into private practice in Chicago, Illinois with a large insurance defense firm specializing in insurance defense including medical malpractice defense, and has worked for a number of large, multi-state law firms, in Illinois and Florida before becoming a founding member of Goddy & Donnelly, PLLC, for the past five years and now continues his legal career in his own law firm.

Memberships and Affiliations

Mr. Donnelly is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is also admitted to practice in the State of Illinois including the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Donnelly’s community involvement includes years as the Attorney-Coach for the Naples-area High School Mock Trial team competition including The Community School of Naples (6 years) and the Naples High School (6 years). Mr. Donnelly has successfully coached his Mock Trial teams to six championships in the circuit level and represented the circuit in state level competitions.

Mr. Donnelly’s commitment to community service also includes being involved many years in the BSA Scouting program where he has served as Cubmaster for a local Naples Cub Scout Pack and as the Scoutmaster for a local Naples Boy Scout Troop helping hundreds of youth develop their leadership skills, strength of character, and citizenship values, and where he helped dozens of Scouts earn the highest honor in Scouting, the Eagle Scout Rank.
